Hi, I'm Jan /yän/. I'm a producer, animator, FAA license drone pilot, and an occasional YouTuber. I love filmmaking, storytelling, and all things camera. I want to motivate creators to step outside their comfort zone and make something awesome.

I began working in media as a video editor at Studio 99 in Yakima, Washington in 2006. I attended college in San Diego, California where I earned a B.S. in Entertainment Media and an MBA in Film Producing.

Since college, I've worked on the feature film, Red Line (2013), as a gaffer in addition to numerous short films in a variety of roles, including cinematography and directing. Other professional experiences include working behind the scenes at TED Conferences in Long Beach, California, working as a motion graphics artist and editor at 1159 Creative in San Diego, working as a videographer at Laserfiche in Long Beach, California, and as a Producer at Simple Science in Costa Mesa, California creating quality video content and animations. I currently do contract work for clients creating quality professional animations and video content at my LLC, Iron & Wood Productions.
